The Queensland Productivity Commission has integrated into Queensland Treasury to establish the Office of Productivity and Red Tape Reduction. The Office will focus on the economic challenges facing Queensland in a post-COVID world, developing policies to promote economic recovery. Within Treasury, the Office will also continue to deliver regulatory review functions across government. The government’s competitive neutrality function has transitioned to the Queensland Competition Authority.
