Impact of 2025 Environment Protection Reforms inquiry — Call for Submissions

The Commission invites all stakeholders to make a submission to the inquiry to assist the Commission in developing its findings and recommendations.

The Commission has released a Call for Submissions to:

• outline the scope of the inquiry
• identify matters on which the Commission is seeking information and feedback.

We welcome your feedback in the form that best suits you — it can be a short comment or a longer form submission with supporting analysis and reports attached.

Stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide further feedback through submissions on the Interim Report which is due for release in November 2026.

The portal will close on 13 July 2026.

• submissions that are provided for publication will be published on our website

• the Commission cannot consider or publish material that is offensive, potentially defamatory, or clearly beyond the scope of the inquiry
• the Commission is an advisory body and cannot investigate specific complaints— these should be referred to the appropriate regulator or investigative body.
