The QPC was asked by the Queensland Government to undertake an inquiry into opportunities to improve the productivity of the Queensland construction industry.
The inquiry examined how policies and regulation affect productivity in the construction industry and considered opportunities for reform that will provide net benefits for the community.
The inquiry’s Final Report was released on 21 January 2026.
The Queensland Government’s response to the report can be found on the Queensland Treasury website.
