The public consultation on the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection’s Regulation Impact Statement (RIS) was interrupted by the state election and so the new Department of Environment and Science released exactly the same RIS (apart from the change in department name) to ensure stakeholders have adequate opportunity to comment. The QPC’s letter of adequacy applies to both RISs.
